I’m Sorry

I’m sorry
That I’ve lead you down such a hard path
I could have, I should have,
Made better decisions

I’m sorry
I know how much you trusted me
The faith you put in me
That I so betrayed

I’m sorry
For all the heartache
My immaturity caused
For the unnecessary hardship

I’m sorry
That I was not a better man
That I was not a better husband
That I was not a better friend

I’m sorry
Because you deserved so much better
Deserved so much more
Deserved a better man.
