Price watch report for the week, based on the set of products I’m monitoring:
After last week’s leap in prices for basic staples, there has been little movement this week.
One-pound packages of Great Value butter came back down to $3.98 from $4.26. The 2-pound packages stayed at $7.48.
Great Value Cornmeal has remained in stock all week after being out for almost a month. The large jugs of Great Value peanut butter are still in stock online and at our local Walmart.
For motor oil, the local store had low stock on quarts but were well-stocked on the 5-quart jugs.
